In the fashion world, I was taught to get my foot (heel clad) into any door that opened. For me, it’s  not as easy to take any opportunity offered to me. When contacted by companies and brands I have to be selective and think twice about what exactly I am choosing to represent. Does this represent me the right way? Can they work with the different guidelines I follow for what I can and can’t wear. Everyday I’m faced with a new decision of which door I can really stick my pointy toe into! So when Eliza J contacted me I was super excited! Everything about their brand and collection is fascinating. There brand has many attributes featuring a sophisticated, modest and fashion forward feel. If you’ve been reading my blog or following me on Instagram or other social media outlets, you know that I have a thing for big skirts. Even though being under 5″ feet, I actually feel my ultimate best in maxi dresses/skirts.

As soon I received the skirt, I was immediately drawn to it’s stunning color scheme and exquisite print. Pops of pinks and burgundy just glowing in front of my eyes – making it 2 of my favorite colors.

There are so many ways to style this skirt. You can go with a tucked in button down shirt  ( remember when Emma Watson wore that! ) , to a loose sweater giving it a more casual vibe or what I did a fitted black shirt, which I think gave the right amount of balance. I love how there are pops pink  through out the skirt, which is why I chose to pair with it this metallic pick clutch from my dear designer friend Ruti Horn. Oh and did I mention it has pockets!? Yes! Giving this skirt even more brownie points 😉

I can definitely see myself wearing this skirt through out the Fall and Holiday Season.
