Spring is here!! It’s a fresh new season that’s perfect for becoming a blooming beauty and inspiring others to do the same … That is why I decided to launch today!!
With the coming of this season’s flourishing flowers, I’ve been having a serious case of pink fever—when I think flowers, I think pink roses! Everywhere I went, I had my eyes glued to pink! Also, I really just wanted a nice pink dress, something easy and fun that I can just throw on and skip along in (considering that it’s spring, I might just skip through a meadow of flowers;)!
Sooo . . . the story of this dress: I spotted this gorgeous fabric while working in Downtown LA and decided to purchase it. I always wanted a dress this color, so I was like, “Why not make one!?” Voila! There it is… I wanted something loose, lively, and fun. This color makes me feel like such a girly girl! And an added benefit is that my mother is happy that I’m actually wearing some color! :p
I paired it with this exquisite headband from Deepa Gurnani. Their Indian inspired beaded work on the headband is intricate and stunning, boasting of exotic magnificence… Literally a work of art… In order to give myself a slight bit of a figure, I added this skinny leather belt, which is always extremely useful, from FrockNYC. It literally can be worn with anything.
Also, there’s nothing like tan sandals—I think every woman should own a pair, especially while living in the sunny city of LA. It’s a color that is so neutral that it can be worn with anything and all year-round. Plus, it adds a special touch of color to the outfit!
